We have been busy trying to get all the planning, equipment, and logistics pulled together.
Tomorrow morning we will leave on our adventure starting at the Mississippi Headwaters.
Father / Daughter - Daniel (54) and Madeline (15) will start their journey down the Mississippi River. The hopes and dreams is to make it all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. We are planning to kayak the first 500 or so miles to St Paul, where we will switch our human powered kayaks for a 27' Sea Ray Cabin Cruiser.
